Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Zabb PuTawn is one of the best places I’ve found in Brooklyn for authentic Northern and Northeastern Thai food. The menu features so many regional specialties that you don’t usually find at typical Thai restaurants, and everything we ordered was incredibly flavorful. We started with the creamy tom yum soup. The broth was rich and comforting, although I was a little surprised that it was made with celery instead of lemongrass, which wasn’t my personal preference. That was the only small disappointment during our meal. The papaya salad was fantastic and truly authentic. I specifically asked for it to be very spicy, and they absolutely delivered, it was almost exactly as spicy as the papaya salads I had in Thailand. If you love authentic Thai heat, you’ll appreciate it. The grilled squid was perfectly cooked, tender, and had a delicious smoky flavor with a great dipping sauce. We also tried the Hung Lay pork ribs stew, which was outstanding. The pork was incredibly tender and slow-cooked in a rich, aromatic curry that paired perfectly with sticky rice. The Northern-style herbal pork (Laab Moo Kua) was another standout, full of fragrant herbs, crispy shallots, and amazing textures. The

The food was absolutely delicious! I especially loved the papaya salad (Som Tam). I love spicy food, and the flavors reminded me so much of the food back in Thailand. If anyone wants to try authentic Thai food, I highly recommend this place!

We were a group of 4, came in on a Friday night with a reservation. The place is well-lit, and not too loud, perfect for a girl’s catch up night. The food was good, our favorites are the Pork Jawl and Pork Ribs with Tamarind. Service was also fast and friendly. Overall, our group had a wonderful time. Thank you!! Recommend to bring cash for 10% off!

Epic!! Beautiful space, lovely people, and absolutely delicious food. We especially loved the isan shabu, really nice complexity and texture in the soup. I wish I lived closer, I'd definitely be a regular!! There are fun little references to Bob's Burger (see photo).
